FATHER'S DAY?

Family life is full of major and minor crises; the ups and downs of health, success and failure in career, marriage, and divorce; all kinds of characters. It is tied to places and events and histories. With all of these felt details, life etches into memory and personality. It's difficult to imagine anything more nourishing to the soul.

The day arrived. As expected no phone calls were made. Not even a single word were uttered from both parties. The man felt that it was unnecessary for him to pick up the phone to call his father. To even wish him as simple as that. The man think it is very hard for him to say the exact truth, even about his own immediate feelings- much harder than to say something fine about them which is not the exact truth.

The man didn't blame his father. It's all history. History, despite its wrenching pain, cannot be unlived, but faced with courage, need not be lived again.

"it doesnt matter who my father was; it matters who you remember he was."

But if the relationship of father to son could really be reduced to biology, the whole earth would blaze with the glory of fathers and sons.
